To all Parents and Grandparents:

It is never to early to plan ahead for your youth's summer activities.  2012 Methodist Youth Camp offerings will be listed online by going to 'inumc.org' in the near future, looking under 'welcome' menu and clicking on 'camping'. 

Our church covers half the cost for our youth.  Generally there is $30.00 discount for registration prior to April 15. 

Individual members of the church may wish to sponsor a student or offer short term jobs around their home to help that special youth earn and learn.

In 2011, 4 of our HUMC youth enjoyed their camping experiences at United Methodist camps.

Valentine Reception

Once again, it is time to start thinking about Valentine's Day and how special it is at our church.  On February 12 our Education Committee will again be holding its annual Valentine Reception.  The reception, held after the 10:00 am service, is an oopportunity for members of all ages to let other members know hos much they appreciate and care for them. 

This activity includes both adults and children.  Now is the time to put into action your appreciation of friends and members who have gone the second mile, or have worked hard at a project, or visited the sick, or said a kind word to you, or always had a smile for you, or you admite them, or they are away in college or in the service, or just because they are who they are.

Purchase Valentines, generate cards through a computer or make your own.

Drop Valenties in the decorate "mail box" in the foyer so you can "mail" your valenties up through February 12.

Place your valentines in envelopes and print both FIRST and LAST NAMES.
